Why settle in Tenerife?

One holiday and your hooked, Tenerife works its magic on most visitors, the beaches, the weather, the relaxed attitude, but that’s just scratching the surface, to really appreciate this island takes time. Although relatively small in size, Tenerife has some big surprises for anyone who thinks it’s just about beaches and sun bathing.

Contrast is the key word for Tenerife, where else could you go from vibrant commercial centres to small home produce markets, from vast beaches to small deserted coves, from pedestrianised promenades to rugged hill walks and from dancing at clubs into the early hours to traditional fiestas with free music and dance.

The contrast of the island is reflected in the wide choice of property and prices. If you want easy access to the beach and night life, one of the bigger towns could be for you, but even then, by taking a few steps back, you can get a great property tucked a short walk from all that you need. If rustic charm is your choice, head a little way into the hills and discover villages that retain their charm and character and offer some land for your family to enjoy. Prices can drop dramatically if you journey inland and there are also many new modern properties built in new remote locations that can offer the best of several worlds.

It’s an uncertain world at the moment with financial upheavel affecting many markets but Tenerife will always be a good investment, the sun, sea and beaches will always be here to welcome you when you need to relax.
